Costanera Asunción is a kitesurfing spot on the banks of the Paraguay River, in the bay of Asunción, Paraguay's capital. This river spot offers freshwater riding right in the heart of the city.

Prevailing winds come from the north and south, with variable conditions depending on the season. The best period is September to March (austral summer) when thermal winds are more frequent. The water offers flat to light chop on the river.

The spot suits intermediate riders. Easy access from the city center along the Costanera. Watch for river traffic (boats and barges).
