Crucita is a kitesurfing spot located on the Pacific coast of Ecuador, in the Manabí province. The spot is at a river mouth, offering interesting flat water conditions for kitesurfing. The winds are generally from the southwest, blowing side-onshore. The windy season runs from May to December, with thermal winds that can reach 15 to 20 knots around midday. Conditions are however less consistent than at Santa Marianita, the main spot in the region. Water temperature is around 26°C. The spot is suitable for intermediate kitesurfers, as the river mouth area can have currents.
