Overview

The Salt is a kitesurfing spot located in the Atacama region of northern Chile, near Caldera. The spot offers windy conditions in a desert coastal environment. The south to southwest wind blows in the afternoon between 15 and 22 knots from September to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders.
