Punta de Lobos is one of the most famous surf spots in Chile, located near Pichilemu in the O'Higgins region. This spot hosts international big wave surfing competitions. The south to southwest wind blows in the afternoon between 15 and 25 knots from September to March. Waves can be very powerful. The spot is reserved for expert riders for kitesurfing due to powerful waves, rocks and currents.
