Desembocadura Rio Maipo is a kitesurfing spot located at the mouth of the Rio Maipo, in the Valparaiso region of Chile. The spot offers interesting conditions at the junction of the river and the ocean. The south to southwesterly wind blows in the afternoon between 15 and 25 knots from September to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate to advanced riders. Beware of currents at the river mouth.
