Carelmapu is a kitesurfing spot located in the Los Lagos region, in southern Chile. This fishing village is situated at the entrance to the Gulf of Ancud, facing the island of Chiloe. The south to northwesterly wind blows between 15 and 25 knots. Southern Chile receives strong and regular winds year-round. The spot is suitable for advanced riders due to challenging conditions and cold water (11-15°C).
