Pontal da Barra is a kitesurf spot located at the entrance of the Mundaú lagoon, south of Maceió. This spot offers a mix of lagoon and ocean waters with the regular Northeast trade winds. East to southeast winds blow consistently from July to February, ideal for intermediate kitesurfers.
