Paracuru is a renowned kitesurf spot on the coast of Ceará, about 80 km northwest of Fortaleza. Known for its waves and powerful winds, it is one of the best wave-kite spots in Brazil. The Northeast trade winds blow strongly from east to southeast from July to February.
