Monte Alto est un spot sur la Lagoa de Araruama, près d'Arraial do Cabo, dans la Região dos Lagos de l'État de Rio de Janeiro. Le plan d'eau de la lagune est plat et peu profond, idéal pour l'apprentissage.

Les vents de NE et de SW soufflent régulièrement sur la lagune. La faible profondeur et l'absence de courant en font un spot sécurisé pour les débutants et la pratique du foil.
