ItaĂşna is an ocean beach located in Saquarema, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Saquarema is considered the surf capital of Brazil, with powerful and regular waves. The spot is exposed to south and southeast swells. NE winds blow side-offshore, creating good surfing conditions. Kitesurfing requires an advanced level due to the powerful waves and shore break.
