Overview

Itaúna est une plage océanique située à Saquarema, dans l'État de Rio de Janeiro. Saquarema est considérée comme la capitale du surf au Brésil, avec des vagues puissantes et régulières.

Le spot est exposé aux houles de sud et sud-est. Les vents de NE soufflent side-offshore, créant de bonnes conditions de surf. Le kitesurf nécessite un niveau avancé en raison des vagues puissantes et du shore break.
