Praia do Francês est l'une des plages les plus populaires d'Alagoas, située au sud de Maceió. Protégée par une barrière de récifs coralliens, elle offre des eaux calmes idéales pour le kitesurf de niveau intermédiaire. Les alizés de sud-est soufflent régulièrement de juillet à février avec une intensité de 15 à 25 nœuds.
