Praia do Foguete (Rocket's Beach) is an ocean beach located near Cabo Frio, in the Regiao dos Lagos of the state of Rio de Janeiro. The spot benefits from the powerful NE winds characteristic of this area. The beach is exposed to southeast swells and offers consistent wave conditions. The NE wind, reinforced by the local upwelling phenomenon, blows strong and constant. Suited to intermediate riders.
