Overview

Spot at the end of the Lake, Le Bouveret is a complicated spot and not suitable for beginners. In winter, the entire area (Oroem) is closed to kitesurfers for bird nesting. The launch is done from the nautical base located between the Rive Bleu camping and the Stockalper canal.
 
The launch is particularly difficult. The takeoff area is extremely small and slightly downwind depending on the wind direction.
 
It is necessary to walk 150 meters with the kite in the air, with turbulence due to upwind obstacles.

Local association recommendations
There is now an association in charge of managing and defending the Le Bouveret spot. If you ride in the region, we strongly encourage you to join. https://kitesurfing-valais.ch/

1. The launch is done from the Le Bouveret nautical base.

2. Kitesurfing is prohibited in the upper lake area (federal directive for bird protection (OROEM) from October 1 to March 31 (there are controls).
