Overview

Cabo Frio est l'un des spots de kitesurf les plus réputés de l'État de Rio de Janeiro, célèbre pour ses vents de NE puissants et constants. La ville est située dans la Região dos Lagos, où un phénomène d'upwelling crée des eaux froides et des vents renforcés.

Le spot océanique offre des conditions de vagues avec un vent de NE side-shore à side-on. La proximité de la Lagoa de Araruama permet aussi des sessions en eau plate. Un spot incontournable du kitesurf brésilien.
