Barra Nova is a kitesurfing spot located on the coast of Alagoas, south of Maceio. The beach benefits from the constant southeast trade winds of the Brazilian Northeast, blowing from July to February between 15 and 25 knots. The waters are protected by coral reefs offering ideal conditions for intermediate riders.
