Barra do Rio Coco is a kitesurfing spot located at the mouth of the Coco River, east of Fortaleza. The spot offers a sheltered water body at the river mouth with the consistent Northeast trade winds blowing from east to southeast. Winds of 15 to 25 knots from July to February are suited to intermediate riders.
