Nahuel Huapi Lake Bariloche is the main kitesurfing spot on Lake Nahuel Huapi, located in San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro Province. It is one of Argentina's most iconic kitesurfing spots, offering a spectacular Andean setting. The prevailing winds blow from the west and northwest, with intensities of 15 to 25 knots and gusts that can reach 40 knots. Wind is present almost every day from November to February. The water is crystal clear but cold (8-15°C). Kite schools are available on site. Suitable for all levels with sheltered areas for beginners.
