Lago Gutiérrez is a kitesurfing spot located on the lake of the same name, south of San Carlos de Bariloche, in Rio Negro Province. This crystal-clear Andean lake offers a breathtaking mountain setting with snow-capped peaks as a backdrop. The prevailing winds blow from the west and northwest, typical of the Patagonian lake district, with intensities of 15 to 30 knots. The lake is smaller and more sheltered than Nahuel Huapi, offering more predictable conditions. The water is very cold, requiring a thick wetsuit. Suitable for intermediate riders.
