The Pipe is a spot located north of Puerto Peñasco in Sonora, on the Gulf of California. Northwest winds blow regularly, offering dynamic conditions on an open body of water. The spot takes its name from a pipeline visible in the area. The large tides of the northern Gulf strongly influence sailing conditions.
