Petit Pokemouche is a kitesurfing spot located on the northeast coast of New Brunswick, in Pokemouche Bay. This spot offers a vast sheltered coastal body of water with favourable conditions across a wide range of wind directions, from east to northwest. The bay offers shallow areas with a sandy bottom, ideal for learning and progressing. The water warms up well in summer. Tides influence water levels but moderately in this sheltered bay. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders thanks to its shallow and sheltered waters. The local kite community on the Acadian Peninsula is active and welcoming.
