Miquelon Lakes is a kitesurfing spot located in central Alberta, near Camrose. The Grouse Meadows area offers a prairie lake body of water with conditions typical of the Canadian interior. The spot benefits from the prevailing Chinook winds from the west and southwest that blow regularly across the Alberta prairies. The lake offers a relatively flat body of water with little chop in moderate winds. The bottom is shallow in some areas. The sailing season runs from May to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Miquelon Lake Provincial Park offers camping and picnic facilities nearby.
