Mitchell's Bay is a village on the east shore of Lake St. Clair in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. The bay faces west with moderate fetch across the lake. Lake St. Clair is very shallow, creating ideal conditions for flat water.
Small fishing village with water access. Parking available. Rural and quiet atmosphere. The bay is partially sheltered, offering calmer conditions than the open lake.

Very shallow water — watch fin and keel. Muddy bottom — avoid walking barefoot. Fishing boat traffic. Possible algae in late summer. Marshes and underwater weed beds in some areas.
