Alberta Beach is a village and kitesurfing spot on the south shore of Lac Sainte-Anne, west of Edmonton, at 721 m altitude. Lac Sainte-Anne is a popular large lake (about 15 km²) frequented for cottaging.
The lake offers a good water body for kitesurfing, with sufficient fetch in several directions. Alberta Beach is the main access point with beach, marina, and services. West and northwest prairie winds are most frequent. Season from June to September. About 1 hour from Edmonton.

Good quality fresh water. Temperature of 19-23°C in summer. Sandy bottom at the beach. Good-sized lake with interesting fetch. Moderate chop in sustained winds. Average depth.
Busy resort lake — boats, jet skis, swimmers. Marked swimming area to respect. Sudden prairie thunderstorms. Algae possible in late summer. Local regulations to check.
