Cedar Beach Conservation Area is near Leamington in Ontario's southwest tip — the southernmost point of mainland Canada. The beach faces south on Lake Erie with excellent fetch. Water here is the warmest of the Great Lakes (22-26°C in summer).
Conservation area with parking. Fine sand beach, easy launch. The Leamington region enjoys a mild climate, extending the riding season. Rideable May through October.
Lake Erie — the warmest and shallowest of the Great Lakes. Freshwater, moderate to strong chop in south winds. Sandy bottom, very gradual depth (shallow lake). Pleasant water temperature from June (22-26°C in midsummer).

Lake Erie, although shallow, can generate steep short chop very quickly. Frequent sudden thunderstorms in summer — watch the sky. Possible algae in late summer in warm waters. Shore currents in strong winds.
