Sandy Beaches is a launch area on the north shore of Keho Lake, characterized by its fine sand beaches. It's one of the most accessible spots on the lake, ideal for beginners and families.
The sandy beach offers comfortable launching and the shallow sandy bottom allows walking far into the lake. With southwest Chinook winds, the wind arrives as side-onshore, pushing riders back toward shore. Ideal conditions for learning. Season from May to October.
