Kite Beach is the main and most popular spot at Keho Lake, located on the northwest shore. It's the gathering point for the Alberta kite community and hosts several events and competitions.
This southeast-facing beach receives the dominant Chinook winds as offshore to side-offshore, offering the best sailing conditions on the lake. Fetch is maximal with southwest winds. Friendly atmosphere and welcoming community. Season from May to October.

Shallow reservoir. Warm fresh water in summer (18-22°C). Muddy to sandy bottom. Chop formed by the southeast fetch. Spacious sailing area in the center of the lake. Ideal conditions for progression and freestyle. Variable water level.
Chinook winds can exceed 40 knots. Offshore wind on this beach — risk of being carried out. Shallow bottom everywhere. Prairie thunderstorms with lightning. High concentration of kitesurfers — watch for collisions. Variable water level.
