Breakwater Beach is located at the southern end of Harrison Lake, near the tourist town of Harrison Hot Springs. This is the lake's most accessible spot, with parking and a developed beach. The northerly thermal wind blows down the lake in the afternoon. The natural hot springs make Harrison Hot Springs a popular tourist destination. Milder conditions than mid-lake.
Fresh water. Flat to choppy water. The breakwater partially protects the area. Sand and pebble bottom. Fetch limited from the south by lake shape, but good N fetch. Cold water (12-18°C). N wind can create good chop along the lake.

Busy tourist area — swimmers, kayaks, paddleboards. Motorboats and jet-skis. Lake can get rough quickly in N wind. Cold water. Floating logs. Watch for the breakwater — fixed obstacle.
