Allenwood Beach is on the south shore of Georgian Bay, near Wasaga Beach. This quieter spot faces north toward the bay. Less known than Wasaga, it offers more space and fewer conflicts with swimmers. Sandy beach with conditions similar to Wasaga. Popular with local kitesurfers avoiding the Wasaga crowds.
Georgian Bay fresh water. Flat to choppy. Sandy bottom. Good fetch from the north. Warm water in summer (18-22°C). Progressive depth. Conditions similar to Wasaga Beach.
