Lakeview is a second access point to Cooking Lake, southeast of Edmonton, at 736 m altitude. This residential area on the southwest shore offers alternative lake access with a different orientation from Bayshore.
Cooking Lake is a modest lake that is part of the Cooking Lake-Blackfoot Natural Area. The Lakeview area is exposed to northwest and southeast winds. Local spot for Edmonton kitesurfers. Season from June to September.
