Svelmø is a spot on the south coast of Funen near Faaborg, facing the South Funen Archipelago. Shallow, calm water near shore with flat water to small chop. Best directions: SE and SSE (thermal and frontal wind). Parking at Østergyden 45a — never park along the road (tractor access).

Shallow water near shore, flat to small chop. Medium waves possible further out. Mixed sand and rock bottom — watch your fins. Clean water, sheltered by the archipelago.
Rocks in the water — main hazard. RESTRICTION: April 1 to July 15, keep distance from coastal marshes, reefs and small islands (nesting birds, seals). Do not drive through the gate except to leave. Never park along the road.
