Schausende is located on the south shore of the Flensburger Förde, a few km from Holnis. It is the complementary spot to Holnis: where Holnis is an East wind spot, Schausende works perfectly in WSW to North winds (approximately 250°-010°). Panoramic view of Denmark from the beach. Active local community via Fördekiter e.V. (webcam + weather station on site). Access exclusively through the Club Nautic e.V. grounds. Kite season indicated by kitesurftheworld: October-March (winter, dominant West winds). Spot also usable the rest of the year in favorable winds.

Access only via Club Nautic e.V. or the marked Schausender Weg trail from the woods. Paid parking in spaces reserved for kiters by Club Nautic (respect signage — first spaces are reserved). Kitewiese (rigging lawn) accessible from the club grounds. Maintain distance from the marked swimming zone.

Works from WSW to N (approximately 250°-010°). Below 250° (SW and less), the wind is disturbed by the terrain — do not use the spot. When Holnis is too onshore in West winds, Schausende is the spot to prefer. West winds brought by Atlantic depressions = best conditions here. Water launch only (beach on the downwind side).
Marked zone (swimming area) in front of Schausende 6 and 8 properties to respect (protection of horses in riverside meadows). Wind below 250° (SW) disturbs launch/landing — do not use the spot in these conditions. Equipment theft already reported in the parking — do not leave valuables in the car. Do not access the beach other than via Club Nautic or the marked Schausender Weg path.
