Overview

The 'Secret Spot' or '2nd Beach' is located 25 min drive north of Essaouira, near a military fort. After crossing sand dunes on foot, you reach an immense sandy beach with no rocks at all.

There's no protection from swell on either side, so this is a powerful beach break — much bigger than it appears due to the vast scale. Completely empty, you'll likely be alone.

Works in all wind directions from N to S through W. A popular destination for downwinders from Essaouira Bay.
