Dahemy Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in the Dana Point / San Clemente area of south Orange County, California. This sandy beach offers moderate wave conditions and west to northwest afternoon thermal winds. The spot benefits from Southern California's mild, sunny climate with some of the warmest water in the state. It is an accessible spot with fewer crowds than beaches further north.
Ocean beach spot with waves of 0.3 to 1.5m. Moderate shore break. Water is temperate (15-21°C/59-70°F), a 3/2 wetsuit or shorty depending on season. Sandy bottom with some rocks. Moderate-sized riding area. South swells in summer offer good conditions.
