Dillon Reservoir is a snowkite spot at 2,750m altitude in Summit County, in the heart of Colorado's ski resort area. The frozen reservoir offers a vast flat surface with winds channeled by surrounding valleys. Accessible from Interstate 70, it's one of Colorado's most popular snowkite spots.

Large frozen surface in winter. Generally solid ice from December to March. Wind-blown snow with drifts and bare ice patches. Good riding space. Winds channeled by north-south and northwest valleys.
