Denver Basin is an extreme alpine snowkite spot at 3,859m altitude in the San Juan Mountains. One of the highest snowkite spots in North America. Open alpine terrain above treeline with powerful high-altitude winds. Reserved for experienced riders due to extreme altitude and isolation.

Alpine terrain with cornices, cliffs, and hidden crevasses. No rapid rescue possible. Extreme UV reflected by snow — protection mandatory.
