The Ras el Chekka spot is located on the Mediterranean coast of northern Lebanon, on the rocky promontory of Ras el Chekka between Batroun and Tripoli. This iconic cape faces west towards the Mediterranean and benefits from the prevailing west, southwest, and northwest winds. The cape's terrain can accelerate winds locally. Intermediate level recommended due to the rocky coastline and currents.
