Zandmotor ("Sand Engine") is a unique kitesurf spot near Kijkduin/Monster — an artificial sand peninsula built in 2011 to reinforce the South Holland coastline. Two very different riding environments: the open North Sea on the west side (waves) and a sheltered seawater lagoon on the inner side (flat water). All wind directions work. Very popular with Den Haag area riders. NKV designated zone. Year-round accessible.
