Aérodrome de Saint-Hubert is a snowkite spot on the Saint-Hubert airfield (Luxembourg province, Wallonia), at 554m altitude in the Ardennes. The wide flat airstrip provides ideal snowkite terrain when snow covers the ground. Mandatory: contact the control tower and obtain authorisation before riding on the runways.
The Ardennes plateau around Saint-Hubert is one of the snowiest areas in Belgium. Dominant winds from SW/W/NW. A beginner-friendly spot thanks to the flat terrain — no obstacles when properly coordinated with air traffic. Check NOTAM and contact the aerodrome before each session.
