Fresno Reservoir is a large reservoir at 782m near Havre, on Montana's northern Hi-Line. Kitesurf spot exposed to powerful prairie and Chinook winds. Large body of water with excellent fetch in an open wind-swept plains landscape. One of Montana's windiest spots.
Large freshwater reservoir with excellent fetch. Cold water. Can produce significant waves in strong winds. Open prairie shorelines. Variable water level by season. Minimal boat traffic.

Extremely powerful Chinook and prairie winds — frequent violent gusts. Very remote Hi-Line location — far from any services. Violent thunderstorms with lightning. Cold water — wetsuit recommended. Poor cell coverage. Rattlesnakes possible.
