Fresno Reservoir is a large reservoir at 782m near Havre, on Montana's northern Hi-Line. Kitesurf spot exposed to powerful prairie and Chinook winds. Large body of water with excellent fetch in an open wind-swept plains landscape. One of Montana's windiest spots.

Extremely powerful Chinook and prairie winds — frequent violent gusts. Very remote Hi-Line location — far from any services. Violent thunderstorms with lightning. Cold water — wetsuit recommended. Poor cell coverage. Rattlesnakes possible.
