The Shoal is a spot located in Gibsons Bay on the Sunshine Coast, near Gibsons harbour. The spot faces southeast and offers protected conditions in the bay. Shallow area with a sandbar exposed at low tide, creating an ideal flat water zone. Only accessible by ferry from Vancouver.

Very tide-dependent — the sandbar is exposed at low tide. Gibsons harbour traffic (fishing boats, recreational boats). Ferry access only. Cold water. Limited riding space in the bay.
