Corpus Christi Sunrise Beach is a kitesurf spot on Lake Corpus Christi (Lake Mathis), an inland reservoir in San Patricio County, about 30 miles northwest of Corpus Christi. This freshwater lake offers an expansive body of water with flat water conditions. The SE wind blows reliably. Sunrise Beach park offers easy lake access with parking and basic amenities.
