Overview

Sado River spot is on the estuary of the Sado river near Comporta/Tróia. The estuary offers flat, sheltered water — a potential alternative to ocean riding when conditions are too rough. Shallow, warm water. Less wind than ocean spots as the estuary is partially sheltered. Known for its resident bottlenose dolphins. Within the Reserva Natural do Estuário do Sado.
