Assateague OSV (Over-Sand Vehicle) is a kitesurfing spot on the southern part of Assateague Island's ocean side, accessible only by off-road vehicle on the sand. This wild and isolated section of the barrier island offers miles of pristine beach facing the Atlantic. OSV access requires a special permit and 4WD vehicle. The total isolation offers a unique kite experience in the wilderness, surrounded by Assateague's wild horses. A spot for self-sufficient riders seeking adventure.
