Long Lake is a large lake in Maine's Lakes Region at 80m elevation, near Bridgton and Naples. This elongated lake offers good fetch for kitesurfing and wingfoil. The Lakes Region is a popular summer destination with forests, mountains, and numerous lakes.
Flat lake water with chop in strong winds. The lake's elongated shape offers good fetch along the lake axis. Freshwater warmer than the ocean in summer. No tide or significant current. Variable bottom — sandy, rocky, and muddy depending on area.
