Lemon Reservoir is a mountain lake at 2,492m altitude near Durango, in the San Juan Mountains. Versatile spot used for kitesurfing in summer and snowkiting in winter. Pristine alpine setting with valley and mountain winds. Ice-cold snowmelt water.
Very cold freshwater (snowmelt). Moderate-sized mountain reservoir. Short chop channeled by terrain. Variable water level by season. Freezes in winter for snowkiting.
