Overview

Kekaha Beach is a long sandy beach on the west coast of Kauai, the oldest and westernmost of Hawaii's main islands, nicknamed "The Garden Isle." This beach stretches for several kilometers along the leeward coast, offering vast space for kitesurfing. Northeast trade winds wrap around the island and arrive from the east/east-northeast. The spot is exposed to open ocean with strong currents and significant swell, reserved for advanced riders. The setting is spectacular with the Na Pali Coast cliffs to the north and Niihau island on the horizon.
