Little Waihi is a kitesurfing spot located in Tauranga Harbour, in the Bay of Plenty. The spot offers a sheltered body of water in an estuary, with shallow sandy bottoms.

The prevailing winds come from the northwest and west. The summer sea breeze from the northeast also works. The water is strongly influenced by tides, with limited access at low tide. The shallow waters and absence of swell make it a good spot for beginners and intermediates.
