Lucky Bay in Esperance is a kitesurfing spot located in Cape Le Grand National Park, Western Australia. Lucky Bay is regularly voted the most beautiful beach in Australia, with its immaculate white sand so fine it squeaks underfoot and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It is an iconic location where kangaroos lounge on the beach.

The prevailing south to southeast winds blow along this southern coast. The bay offers some protection with conditions suited for intermediate to advanced riders. The natural setting is absolutely exceptional and among the most beautiful in the world.

Access is through Cape Le Grand National Park (entry fee applies). Camping is available on site. Note: this is an isolated spot with no reliable phone coverage. The kangaroos on the beach are wild — keep your distance. Watch out for currents and reefs.
