Gollendorf is the new main school spot on Fehmarn island, between Lemkenhafen and Orth on the southwest coast. Primesurf, the island's historic school, has set up a brand new nautical center there (opened in 2024), including a café/bistro, equipment rental, stand-up paddle and wakeboard. Large shallow and flat standing area, predominant W to SW winds. Ideal for beginners and freestyle. Spot developed as a partial replacement for the western Lemkenhafen sector, closed for nature protection.
