Fairhaven Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the Great Ocean Road, between Aireys Inlet and Lorne, in Victoria. This spectacular beach is part of the Surf Coast and offers quality waves in a beautiful natural setting, with the Otway hills in the background. The prevailing southwesterly to westerly winds blow side-shore on this south-facing beach. Conditions are powerful with regular waves and currents. The spot is suitable for advanced riders. The beach is long and sandy, offering plenty of space. Access is from the Great Ocean Road with beachside parking. Watch out for rip currents and surfers. The spot is less crowded than the beaches of Torquay.
